Ladakh is a biker's dream due to the challenges thrown in by the difficult terrain and weather. The landscape is full of wind, rock and silence. Ladakh is the highest altitude plateau region in India mostly above 3,000m. Dissected by the Indus River, Ladakh is like chancing upon a treasure secured by the intimidating Himalayan and Karakoram ranges.
Seven bikers Vaibhav, Anurag, Ankit, Ryz Wrecked, two Anirudhs and Akshat are all set for a ride of their lifetime. It will take them 10days from Delhi/Gurgaon to Ladakh and back. Just 5 more days to go..
They will be starting on the 26 June and will be back by the 4th July after covering nearly 2400 kms of hilly and difficult terrain. On the first day, after the flag is waved, they will take a hard ride to Manali where it all begins. Then, they go on to Sarchu and reach Leh by the next afternoon.
It is a dream run thereafter to the Nubra valley, followed next day by a 7-hour long but beautiful ride via Surmur - Leh - Chang La and Pangong Tso. They plan to admire the beauty of Pangong Tso the next morning and ride on to Upshi and Keylong bidding bye-bye to the scenic beauty.
After some local sight-seeing at Keylong and Manali, they propose to take the tough ride back home.
Wish them all the very best! Enjoy your ride. Happy and safe journey..
